brett
I'm planning on running multiple WiredMessagingPOP devices in the same system. Do I need to create a separate email account for each device, or can I have just one email account and share it?
Felix
The answer depends on what you want to do with your devices. If you are only looking for them to send messages, you can share one email account among many messaging devices. If you want your devices to all receive email messages, then each one needs its own account. If you have a mix, some only sending and some sending and receiving, then you can piggyback send-only devices on top of any of the the receivers. What you can't do is have more than one messaging device polling the same account. The reason is only one will be able to pick up messages (while the other sees none). When you have a send-only device, you need to set its poll_interval parameter to nil. That will keep it from picking up messages from the email server.
